Abstract
The complete job of being a rural public health nurse seems a stupendous undertaking when viewed so minutely in detail. It calls for good health, the sort that is abounding in vitality and vivacity; nothing short of actually practicing what she preaches will convince the public of the worth-whileness of the nurse's work. If she understands the underlying principles of rural health work, if she endeavors to know her community so that she feels each factor that make it what it is, if she desires to really help the community grow and develop, "She'll be the Nurse, my dear".
