In the last 20 years, homelessness in America has become a social problem of great magnitude. Despite extensive research on the topic, many questions regarding persons who are homeless remain unanswered. The purpose of this study is to explore the health status, health practices, and health care needs and experiences of homeless men in Portland, Oregon.
