Abstract

Trace amine-associated receptor 1 (TAAR1) is a G protein-coupled receptor that modulates dopaminergic transmission. This dissertation describes doctoral research to characterize the neuronal localization of TAAR1 and the effects of TAAR1 agonists on dopamine transporter function.
