This quality improvement initiative planned to improve patients’ adherence to statins at the suburban family medicine clinic in the Pacific Northwest by evaluating the primary care providers’ perception and actual patients’ status of statin therapy. The project focused on primary ASCVD prevention in 40 to 75-year-old patients with type 2 diabetes.
