Digital photograph of two paper notes, one for five centavos and one for fifty centavos, issued for general public use by the Japanese government during its occupation of the Philippines. Both pieces are printed in English with the name of the issuing authority and the denomination.

Two paper notes, one for five centavos and one for fifty centavos, issued for general public use by the Japanese government during its occupation of the Philippines. The smaller denomination measures 10 x 4.8 cm, and is stamped in red: PR. The larger note measures 12 x 5.8 cm, and is stamped in red: PI. Both pieces have two holes punched into them. The bills are in good condition, and were donated by D. Madge Ellis in March 1945.
