This capstone report outlines a project designed to strengthen the knowledge and effectiveness of WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselors. Through tailored retreats, the project delivered evidence-based education on maternal nutrition and breastfeeding practices, incorporating pre- and post-surveys to evaluate learning outcomes and adapt content to counselor needs. The curriculum emphasized culturally sensitive support, practical tools, and interactive activities to enhance peer counselor confidence and improve maternal-infant health outcomes.
