Abstract

This study was a mixed methods analysis of policies governing the mental healthcare systems that law enforcement agencies implement for their officers. Mental health wellness policies are common but unevenly distributed, and most policies are trauma-sensitive or trauma-responsive but not completely trauma-informed.
