Medical Museum Collection, Box 41
A set of Nelaton catheters in a case, taken from Japan during World War II. It was donated by John B. White, M.D., in January 1945. The black plastic case, which measures 36.5 x 7 cm has a white plastic handle and fitted side clasps. Japanese characters are stamped in red on the lid. The case contains twelve red rubber Nelaton catheters preserved in powder. The catheters are 32 cm long. Written on the sides of the catheters is the manufacturing information: Renowned PurePara 41D or 411, Pr. No. 107473. The set is in good condition.
