Benefits of behavioral health intervention for glycemic control in pediatric and young adult patients with type 1 diabetes

This dissertation utilized medical record data from 2008 to 2023 from the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center at Oregon Health & Science University to evaluate the unique effects of behavioral health intervention on HbA1c trajectory in pediatric and young adult patients with type 1 diabetes. Results of this research confirm the importance of integrated behavioral treatment models in a specialized medical clinic.
