Abstract
Strong education research begins long before data collection—with well-formed questions, a clear understanding of the literature, and thoughtful decisions about where scholarship can have the greatest impact. Academic librarians will share practical strategies for partnering effectively with librarians as research collaborators and expert consultants, from refining research questions to conducting efficient, comprehensive literature reviews. Consideration will be given to developing practical strategies for identifying the right journal for publication that aligns with your research and teaching interests, and evaluate which ones are a good fit for your work. We will discuss open-access and article processing charges, and how to make the best choices for your work.
The Education Researchers spreadsheet includes a selection of possible journals that publish education scholarship, as well as information on open access policies.
