Abstract

There is a substantial gap between the need for and access to mental health care in the United States. Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) is a structured, feedback‑based approach designed to improve client outcomes across therapeutic models. This quality improvement project examined implementation of FIT in a private outpatient clinic seeking to increase adoption and fidelity. Using a mixed‑methods design, eight clinicians participated in two pilot groups. Quantitative data assessed survey use and FIT initiation, while qualitative interviews identified barriers and facilitators using the EPIS framework. Results showed moderate adoption, with workflow challenges limiting fidelity. Improved integration and clinician support are needed for sustained implementation.
