Assessment of clinical outcomes in transgender orthopaedic patients

This project is a retrospective single-institution study evaluating perioperative outcomes in transgender and gender-diverse patients undergoing orthopaedic sports surgery. It found low complication rates and no postoperative complications within 90 days, suggesting that surgical outcomes in this population are generally safe and comparable to expected norms, though limited by small sample size and lack of a cisgender comparison group.
