Abstract
This DNP project addressed the lack of a structured peer mentoring program for nurse-midwifery students despite strong student interest. Using a two-stage approach, focus groups were conducted to identify barriers and facilitators to implementation, and data were analyzed using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR). Findings were systematically translated into a structured program plan tailored to the institution’s context. The resulting plan emphasizes flexible program structure, intentional matching, mentor support, equity, and sustainability.
