Abstract

Healthcare workforce shortages pose a growing global challenge, disproportionately affecting rural and remote regions. In Oregon, recent needs assessments continue to identify significant unmet healthcare workforce needs in rural areas, highlighting the importance of effective recruitment and retention strategies. This qualitative study aimed to identify factors that support recruitment and retention of healthcare providers in rural Oregon through key informant interviews.
