Conducted a comprehensive operational assessment of the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Pediatric Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) and Intestinal Rehabilitation (IR) Program to identify opportunities to enhance scalability, care coordination, and long-term sustainability. Leveraged stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, literature review, and benchmarking with nationally recognized pediatric intestinal rehabilitation programs to evaluate current-state operations and emerging best practices. Developed strategic recommendations focused on workflow standardization, role clarity, discharge coordination, multidisciplinary collaboration, and Epic optimization to strengthen operational effectiveness, support sustainable program growth, and improve care delivery for medically complex pediatric patients.
