Medical Museum Collection, Box 113
A doctors bag, measuring 36 x 16 x 11 cm, which belonged to R. Lloyd Tegart, M.D. It was donated by his cousin, William E. Tegart, in March 1978. The black leather bag with leather-covered handles and zip closure contains: 1) sphygmomanometer in a small leather case, 2) prescription pad, 3) otoscope, 4) chrome pen light, 5) glass syringe in a chrome case, 6) two rubber catheters, 7) Taylors reflex hammer, 8) cylindrical chrome case for swabs, 9) small amber glass bottle, empty, 10) small bottle of Mercurochrome, 11) Wetmores caustic pencil, 12) box of morphine, 13) box of duricillin, 14) two bottles of duricillin, and 15) a plastic box, containing bottles of ergotrate, adrenalin, atropine, and merchydrin sodium. The items are all in good condition.
