A microtome for slicing thin sections for specimen slides. The plane-like instrument measures 23.5 x 12 x 11.5 cm. The sliding cutting block is detachable, and the mini-vise moves along the length of the instrument. The instrument has heavy surface rust. It was donated in November 1959 by C.W. Adams, M.D.
