Black and white print of Dr. J[oseph] Henry Clarke (b.1930). Graduated from University of Oregon Dental School (1961), he later joined the faculty (1971), and is now Emeritus Professor. He is known as an historian of dentistry and for his use of hypnosis as an anesthetic aid.
