Improving primary care provider's management of type 2 diabetes: assessing practice in the context of clinical practice guidelines

Although diabetic clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) provide recommendations for practice, patients often fail to get the suggested screenings. The objective of this retrospective chart review was to investigate the current practice of diabetes care in a primary care home and provide findings-based education in the context of clinical practice guidelines.
