Abstract

Sarcoma is a cancer arising in the bone, connective, or soft-tissue and occurs at any age. Among these, spindle cell rhabdomyosarcoma (SCR) is a rare, aggressive skeletal muscle subtype predominately noted in children. Patients with SCR have poor outcomes despite intensive chemotherapy and radiation treatments, which emphasizes the need to understand tumor biology and identify molecularly targetable treatment options.
