Abstract

Allergic rhinitis is a chronic condition that can be monitored at home using Web-Health 2.0 tools like smartphones, which are valued for their portability and multimedia features. Although health-related apps are rapidly evolving, many are still unproven and lack sufficient patient feedback. I conducted a study on allergic rhinitis patients' experiences using a mobile app that features a quality of life questionnaire (eSurvey). The study found that patients felt satisfied, found the app easy to learn and use, and developed trust in the virtual healthcare experience.
