Abstract

The aim of this project was to identify differences in patient ratings of benefit and satisfaction between conventional therapies, complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) therapies, and their providers. Additionally, the project sought to evaluate whether there are differences in patients' ratings of emotional support skills among neurologists, MD non-neurologists, and CAM providers. Finally, we aimed to examine the associations between CAM use and various factors, including demographics, multiple sclerosis (MS) disease factors, physical well-being (PCS), and mental well-being (MCS).
