Abstract
Photographs used for teaching health professions students often use white skin as the default (Massie, 2020). These images do not represent all health professions students nor the patient populations they serve. This act of exclusion is a type of microaggression that contributes to feelings of lack of belonging and adverse personal and educational outcomes (Metzger, 2020). OBJECTIVES: 1. Find and implement a process to make diverse photographs used in teaching by the first author available to OHSU faculty and students without violating copyright. 2. Make the photographs available to faculty and students outside of OHSU.
