The Canadian healthcare system is paper-laden and electronic health records (EHR) implementation lags other countries. A gap exists in literature regarding perceptions of Canadian physicians on burnout and wellness as they transition to a comprehensive EHR. We aimed to answer the question, what are the perceived impacts of EHR on clinician wellness, specific to the Canadian context?
