Abstract
Gestational Diabetes (GDM), impacts approximately 10% of pregnant women and is independently associated with adverse perinatal outcomes. Interventions such as nutrition education, exercise, and pharmacotherapy have improved rates of cesarean delivery, LGA, and preeclampsia. However, women with GDM continue to have higher rates of complications compared to women without GDM. In this project, we sought to examine the impact of depression on adverse perinatal outcomes in women with GDM.
