Objective: To create and distribute a Patient Decision Aid (PDA) for use with induction of labor (IOL). Setting/Local problem: Midwifery practice at a university hospital serving an urban and suburban population in the Pacific Northwest. PDAs have been shown to improve outcomes, costs and patient satisfaction, and though several exist for pregnancy and birth, none exist for IOL.
