Abstract

Research shows that measurement-based care (MBC) in psychiatry improves accuracy in diagnosis and patient outcomes; however, implementation and adoption in practice has been slow. This project aimed to identify barriers to clinician adoption of MBC at a large urban adult outpatient psychiatry clinic, and to subsequently use that knowledge to design and implement an intervention to address the identified barriers with the goal of increasing MBC adoption.
