Improving awareness, knowledge, screening and diagnostic practices of sexually transmitted diseases in non-genital sites among Oregon primary care providers: a quality improvement project

Based upon the perceived lack of awareness among primary care providers regarding STD evidenced based care, this quality improvement project was completed in the effort of improving STD healthcare to individuals who are often marginalized. This quality improvement project aimed to assess and improve the awareness, knowledge, screening, and diagnostic practices of triple site STDs by primary care providers at Lancaster Family Health Center in Salem, Oregon.
