The "M2FO: Building Awareness, Taking Action" zine was created to accompany "Treat Local: The Medical Society of Metropolitan Portland, 1884-2020," an archival exhibit at the OHSU Library. Contents include examples of grant sponsorships made by the Metropolitan Medical Foundation of Oregon (MMFO, also known as M2FO) in the interest of community health education and the delivery of health care, a brief historical overview of the organization, and a list of resources for those interested in community health projects in the Portland metropolitan area.
