Many nurses enrolled in education programs specifically designed for further preparation in nursing. Others have enrolled in general education programs or have taken courses of a cultural or recreational nature. The major purpose of this paper is to ascertain the amounts and kinds of educational programs which have been undertaken by professional nurses who have completed the requirements for graduation from 2 basic schools of nursing.
