This spreadsheet contains the requirements and use cases collected by the OHSU Library Digital Collections Working Group (DCWG) for their evaluation and selection of a new digital repository platform. The first tab of the spreadsheet is the complete list of collected requirements framed as questions, and organized by category and priority. It includes columns for the best possible score a system could achieve and the score obtained by the Library's legacy system. Scores are weighted by priority. Additional tabs include various scorecards created to compare systems' evaluation performance against each other. Other institutions are invited to use this work as a guide to conducting their own systems evaluation and selection, but it must be stressed: these are the specific requirements of the OHSU Library, developed in response to a system that did not meet institutional needs. Other institutions may have different requirements and are strongly encouraged to determine what they are themselves, and are welcome to reach out to Marijane White at whimar@ohsu.edu to learn more about our selection process.
